NOTABLE INFORMATION

A Very Special Field Trip: Learning About Wolves

Ms. Giovanna Martínez and her students in 1 III are studying the Mexican wolf as part of their ecology project. They have done extensive research, visited the zoo, and learned a lot about this Mexican species.

The most exciting part of this project was the visit Ms. Gio organized to a very unique place: a reserve where wolves live in their natural habitat under the protection of very committed rangers. There, a group of students and their parents were able to interact directly with some of these amazing animals.

Let’s keep working to protect the beauty of the natural world.

Connecting Across the Globe

Last week, Ms. Fernanda Martínez and Ms. Maca Arce opened a window to the world for a group of twelve 4th graders. Through a joyful video call, these young explorers crossed oceans without leaving their classroom, connecting heart-to-heart with students in India. Together, they shared stories, laughter, and glimpses of their cultures—discovering both the beauty of distant lands and the warmth of what they have in common. As the hour drew to a close, our students offered a piece of Mexico wrapped in song, singing Las Mañanitas with bright smiles, and in return, they listened with wonder to the melodies of a traditional Indian tune—a musical embrace across continents.

Moments like these plant seeds of curiosity, kindness, and understanding, helping young minds grow into compassionate global citizens. Bravo to Ms. Fer and Ms. Maca for making the world feel a little closer, a little brighter, and full of possibility.
