Elementary report card information session for parents at 8:00 a.m.
We invite parents of students in Grades 1 through 6 to attend. The session will cover assessment criteria, grade ranges, and how these relate to the official SEP report card. Our goal is to provide clarity and strengthen the support families offer during their children’s learning process.
We’re sure this will be a very helpful session for all our families, whether they’re new to our school or have been with us for a while now.
Thursday 29
Halloween and Day of the Dead celebration.
Dismissal will be at the usual time (2:30 p.m.). Students who participate in the After-School Program will be staying for their activities as they always do. This includes academic tutoring with Elementary teachers.

NOTABLE INFORMATION
Halloween and Day of the Dead
This year, our traditional Halloween celebration will be held during regular school hours. In order to honor our school traditions while also celebrating Mexico’s rich cultural heritage, we have decided to hold two contests:
- English teachers will decorate their doors with Halloween motifs, and the best door in each grade will win a prize.
- For the first time, Spanish teachers will set up traditional Mexican altars in their classrooms, also eligible for a prize.
Additionally, teachers are already organizing activities, as well as the shared classroom lunch, with the help of our ambassadors. Please let them know if you want to participate in any activity on this very exciting day.
As we have been doing for many years now, we will be organizing parades for Grades 1 to 4 to show off their Halloween costumes as they dance and sing for their parents.
Halloween Parade Schedule (October 29)
8:00 a.m.: 4th grade parade
8:30 a.m.: 2nd grade parade
9:00 a.m.: 3rd grade parade
9:30 a.m.: 1st grade parade
Remember that parents are invited to join us in each of these parades and enjoy the songs and choreographies put together by our Music and Performing Arts team.
Finally, please keep in mind that we promote a safe and organized celebration. Please avoid costumes that might scare our younger students, as well as all kinds of inflatable costumes. These are a risk to students’ safety as they hinder visibility when walking around the school or going up and down the stairs.

We are grateful to all the families that joined us for Regina’s conference. It was a very interesting talk, and we got extremely positive reviews.
As promised, we’re sharing Regina’s presentation so that families can revisit these insights at home and support their children.
