Cell Phone Pouches

We appreciate the feedback and suggestions from families regarding the importance of students having access to their cell phones at the end of the school day, particularly to facilitate communication during their journey home.

After considering different perspectives and seeking a balance between student well-being, safety, and a positive learning environment, we’ve decided to implement the use of cell phone pouches starting in the fall. This measure will allow students to have their devices with them while preventing access to them during the school day. We’ll share the guidelines for the use of the pouch at the beginning of the school year.

We’ve attached a video explaining how this system works.

Important End-of-Year Dates

JULY

Wednesday 1 to Monday 6. Online review and tutoring sessions for students preparing for make-up exams. Teachers will provide meeting links via email.

Wednesday 1 to Tuesday 7. Make-up exams. Students should only attend school during their scheduled exam time. Students can ride the bus to school in the morning; however, there will be no transportation service available after the exams, so students will need to be picked up when they’re done with their exams.

If you have any questions, please reach out at imelda.zamarripa@eton.edu.mx.
