NOTABLE INFORMATION
Life at Eton: Student-Led Conferences
As we finish 6th-grade conferences, we are filled with pride for our students. They did an amazing job at analyzing their own performance, reflecting on their effort, and setting forth goals for the rest of the school year. The experience strengthened their autonomy and ownership in their learning, and it strengthened their bonds to their teachers. This was such a rewarding experience that we will extend it to our 4th and 5th graders next year!
Congratulations to each of our amazing 6th graders and to their committed and supportive team of teachers!
Taking Care of Our Students
As you surely know, solar radiation is high this time of year, so we recommend that you send your children to school wearing sunblock and a hat. It’s also a good idea that they wear airy and breathable clothes in light colors and with long sleeves. Finally, we recommend that each child brings a small bottle of sunblock on the days they have PE, that way they can reapply it before going out in the sun.
Celebrations
We have several golf champions in our school family! Congratulations to Jerónimo and Constanza Jiménez for achieving national and international rankings in golf, and to Alexa Elsharkawy for getting first place in the Lorena Ochoa tournament..
We also want to celebrate María José Narro for her participation in an equestrian tournament.
We Wish You Well
We wish the Rejón Contreras family well in these difficult times.
